LANCASTER, Pa. — As the temperatures continue to soar on Monday, several area senior centers are offering extended hours to help keep Central Pennsylvania seniors cool. Reading considers developing traffic-calming policy
READING, Pa. – The issue of traffic-calming was back on the agenda for Reading City Council's Committee of the Whole meeting Monday. Reading Public Works Director Timothy Krall reported to council about the status of the project. He noted that the city does not yet have a traffic-calming policy, but "it would be very good for the city to adopt [one] if the city wants to go in that direction." He continued, "It's not mandatory to have one, but it could be effective."
