Pepper, Thomas earn CSC Academic All-District honors
SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – A pair from the Spring Arbor University women's bowling team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. The CSC recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletics and in the classroom. Earning the distinction from SAU were Emily Pepper and Devon Thomas . The 2024 Academic All-District Men's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. Players nominated for the CSC All-District Team were starters or key reserves with cumulative grade point averages of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. SHERWOOD TWP. — An 89-year-old Sherwood Township woman drowned in Union Lake Monday afternoon, according to the Branch County Sheriff's Department.
