500 bikers travel through Michigan to raise PTSD awareness
NEWBERRY, Mich. (WLUC)—American Legion bikers from the U.P. and Michigan’s Lower Peninsula stopped at Newberry on Saturday as part of the From Hell to Paradise Ride. The goal is to raise awareness of PTSD in first responders and veterans. About 500 riders met for lunch at Newberry’s American Legion. Event organizer Scott Igo said the trip perfectly represents PTSD.

Man in critical condition after being hit by car in Kalamazoo
KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car on Saturday night, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety. KDPS said around 10:20 p.m. officers responded to a crash involving a car and a pedestrian in the 3100 block of Portage Street.
