ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Mud: It’s something kiddos can’t resist playing in, but it is also necessary for plants, crops, and other vital agriculture to thrive.

Albuquerque’s Open Space Division celebrated International Mud Day in northwest Albuquerque near Coors Boulevard.

Fundraiser aims to help 121-year-old Albuquerque building stay structurally secure

The worldwide celebration aims to bring awareness to the nurturing and healing power of mud.

If you’re kiddos missed out this year, no worries, officials said that this is a yearly event, and they always try to make the next year better than the last.
