ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The holidays have come early! Albuquerque’s Animal Welfare Department hosted Christmas in July.

All animals at the event come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. On top of that, a free dog training class and voucher for Boofy’s Best for Pets are part of the adoption package as well.

If you can’t adopt but want to help, the shelter needs foster parents or donations.
