LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Safety City Summer Academy is celebrating a successful season. This week marked the end of this year's academy, filled with important lessons and activities at Safety City. Hundreds of kids have graduated with new skills to protect them from potentially dangerous scenarios. Students in Lima's GenNext program meet with Lima firefighters and explore lifesaving careers
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Several local students received a close-up look at life-saving careers on Wednesday. As part of the City of Lima's GenNext program, students met with Mayor Shareeta Smith and the Lima Fire Department at the Bradfield Community Center to learn more about jobs in public safety.
