Bluey event draws thousands downtown
Williamsport, Pa. — Thousands of Bluey fans converged downtown Williamsport for the highly-anticipated Otto Bookstore Block Party featuring the beloved blue heeler stories. It was a fun-filled day of games, activities, food trucks and so much more, said organizer John Shableski. “We knew it was going to be a big event," he said. "We had 1,000 people pre-register within the first 24 hours of the announcement of the event. We actually had to turn vendors away,” Shableski said. The event showcased books and other merchandise featuring Bluey, the titular character of an animated children's show. Crowds lined the street outside the bookstore for the block party, which shut down West Fourth Street between Pine and William streets between noon and 4 p.m.
