ROCK VALLEY—An 18-year-old rural Rock Valley resident was arrested about 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 30, on charges of assault and violation of a no contact/protective order. The arrest of Espn Jordan Green stemmed from him moving in with a protected individual and her family at their rural Rock Valley residence for about three weeks, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.

Sioux Center, Iowa — Four people, including drivers from Ireton and George were taken to a hospital after an accident on Monday, July 1, 2024, near Sioux Center. According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, at about 2:50 p.m., 59-year-old Lynnette Reekers of Ireton was driving a 2021 Ford Explorer eastbound on 410th Street, a mile east of Sioux Center.
