Luke Bryan‘s tour convoy found itself in a predicament last Saturday when one of the equipment semi-trucks got stuck under a bridge in Chicago. According to a report from FOX32 out of Chicago, a bystander snapped photos of the truck. It was definitely stuck, plus there’s visible damage to the truck judging by the pictures. Check out the images via FOX32.

The overpass was located at Irving and DuSable Lake Shore Drive, according to the report. Bryan was set to play at Wrigley Field the next day, August 25, and allegedly the show went off without a hitch. After the truck was unstuck, of course.

The Chicago bystander posted the photos on Reddit, where other city residents added their commentary. One person even revealed that this isn’t the first time Luke Bryan’s truck has gotten stuck under an overpass.

In 2017, during his Huntin’ Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day Tour, one of Bryan’s equipment trucks was crushed after it struck an overpass on Long Island’s Wantagh State Parkway. Photos of the accident show the middle of the semi-truck crushed like an accordion with the truck wedged under the overpass.

If Luke Bryan Had a Nickel for Every Time His Truck Got Stuck Under an Overpass…

Chicago residents on Reddit commented on the state of the truck and the roads in general. One person wrote, “This happens all the time just past 18th on Damon. I am thoroughly convinced that the heights are not posted correctly. But this is one hell of a advertisement for Luke Bryan.”

Apparently, Lake Shore Drive as well as the Chicago boulevards are barred to commercial vehicles and semi-trucks by state law. Savvy Chicagoans noted that there was no way to get west-bound on Irving—where the truck was stuck—without exiting off of Lake Shore Drive. Residents were left asking—how did the truck get to Lake Shore Drive in the first place?

According to the FOX32 report, the truck stayed under the bridge for several hours. The Mind of a Country Boy Tour continues on September 5 in Somerset, Wisconsin. Luke Bryan will then travel to Indiana and Florida, before heading out to rural American for his annual Farm Tour on September 19. There, he’ll play Grantville, Pennsylvania; Chesapeake, Virginia; Marshville, North Carolina; and Shelbyville, Kentucky.
