Albacore Park to break ground on new visitor center
PORTSMOUTH — Albacore Park, a National Historic Landmark Site and museum in Portsmouth, is expanding its visitor center. Thanks to generous funding provided by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, the Linn Foundation, and an anonymous donor, they are working on a building expansion that will double the size of Albacore Park’s visitor center.

Two weeks ago, the Boston newscasters were all excited about a great white shark that “pinged” off Rye Beach. While having a great white in our waters does not surprise me as the commercial fishermen see them frequently, I was surprised that it had made it onto the Boston television stations.
