    Warming Center Open for Homeless in Danville Virginia

    If you or somebody you know is in need of a place to get warm and a hot meal on nights below 38 degrees, there is a warming center open in Danville, VA.

    The warming center is located at 625 Shelton St. Danville, Va. The Redemption Center Church. The center is open on all nights when the temperature drops below 38° outside. The hours to rest and warm up are between 7pm-9am.

    “Although the homeless population may not have social media, we ask that if you are out and about please cordially pass the word to those who can use the assistance.”Community Strong! 625 Shelton St. Danville, Va. The Redemption Center Church.

    Danville Warming Center is a community collaboration consisting of several organizations throughout Danville including The Redemption Center Church,Salvation Army, Third Chance Ministries, and Danville Redevelopment and Housing Authority. Pastor Willis Ferrell has opened the doors of his church to meet the needs of the unhoused in Danville.

    When temps drop below 38 degrees DWC will open from 7pm-9am. Therefore, we will be open TONIGHT!

    If you know anyone who may be in need of a warm/safe place to stay and a hot meal please spread the word!!!"
