Shooting in Anderson Leaves Several Injured, Two in Serious Condition

ANDERSON — Multiple people were shot with two suffering severe injuries in an early Sunday shooting according to Anderson Police.

They say just after midnight officers responded to a report of a large gathering at the 2200 block of Arrow Avenue. That’s just east of the Westvale Park. As the roadway was being blocked a fight broke out in the crowd, moments later gun shots could be heard.

Officers would identify “several” victims with gunshot wounds, two of them were in serious condition.

Victims were transported to local hospitals except for the two in serious condition, they were transported to an Indianapolis area hospital.
