Almost 30 schools have offered junior offensive tackle Leo Delaney of Charlotte Providence Day . Clemson , Florida , Florida State , Miami , Michigan , North Carolina , NC State , Oregon , Penn State , South Carolina , Tennessee and USC are some of the schools showing him a lot of interest.

Back in the spring and summer, he took visits to Alabama , Clemson, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. This weekend, the No. 92 prospect in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking will visit Michigan for the first time.

“I am definitely looking forward to my first visit to Michigan a lot,” Delaney told On3. ” Jadyn Davis and Channing Goodwin (former teammates) go there, so I am excited to see what they love so much about it. I am looking forward to meeting the strength coaches, meeting coach Sherrone Moore and start to build more relationships with the coaches. It will be nice to see what the town of Ann Arbor is about too.”

Michigan landed a couple of players Delaney won a state title with last year and he saw the Wolverines win a national title. Those are two reasons the Big Ten program is on his radar, but there are more.

“They had six offensive linemen in the NFL combine, they won two out of the last three Joe Moore Awards and they just breed offensive linemen. I feel a school like this can really develop me.

“Michigan is doing a great job recruiting me too. I have a great relationship with coach Grant Newsome . We talk a lot and we are building a great relationship. I like Michigan as a program and their coaching staff.”

Coach Moore impressed Delaney and his family last season. They will get one-on-one time with the new head coach this weekend. His former teammates rave about Ann Arbor and the program, so this weekend, Michigan will have their shot to make a move for the No. 9 offensive tackle in the country .

“Visits are important because I get to see the campus, the facilities and the type of program it is,” Delaney said. “What I am looking for in a school is a family-like atmosphere and a great program that can develop offensive linemen. I know Michigan is a program that will win games and it could a school that I could be a part of.”
