Jim Harbaugh is now the head coach for the Los Angeles Chargers after winning the College Football Playoff national title with Michigan. But, even though he isn't in Ann Arbor anymore, it doesn't mean the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry is over.

The Chargers released a hype video to get fans excited for training camp, and there was an interesting tidbit that Harbaugh said in the clip: "None here were born on third base, but rather had to work your way to first, then second, then third.”

This might not be too familiar to Chargers fans, but for those who followed the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry, this rings a familiar bell.

In 2021, Michigan finally got a win over Ohio State, marking the first win over the Buckeyes since 20111.

And, Harbaugh made sure to clap back at Ryan Day and the Buckeyes with a viral comment: "Sometimes people stand on third base and think they hit a triple.”

These comments from Harbaugh were in response to Day saying that Ohio State was going to "hang 100 on them."

Well, Michigan got the win, and Harbaugh had a strong statement.

For what it's worth, Michigan has not lost to Ohio State since that season. While there's no telling if Jim Harbaugh intended to direct these comments towards Ryan Day or not, it certainly seems that way given the history between the two storied programs.
