DENISON, Texas (KXII) - A teenage boy from Howe died in a crash east of Denison Monday afternoon. Texas troopers said Grant Harris, 15, was riding a dirt bike in the barrow ditch off FM-1753 near Richerson Road traveling northeast just before 3 p.m. when he tried to enter the roadway and hit the side of a semi-truck traveling eastbound.

COOKE COUNTY, Texas — A single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning resulted in one fatality and two injuries, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. The incident occurred at approximately 12:25 a.m. on July 28, 2024, at the intersection of Kirby Road and Phillips Street. A 2016 Can-AM Maverick, driven by 23-year-old Caitey Nicole Sawyer, of Leonard, Texas, was traveling northbound on Kirby Road when it disregarded a stop sign, drove through a T-intersection, crashed through a fence, and rolled over.
