    75-year-old Annandale man injured in motorcycle crash Thursday

    A 75-year-old man went off the road on a motorcycle on Thursday evening and crashed. He survived the injuries.

    At around 6:20 p.m., July 18, the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office went to the site of a single vehicle motorcycle crash. The crash happened in the 15000 block of Caldron Road in Maine Prairie Township, approximately two miles north of Kimball, according to the release.

    The driver of the motorcycle, a 75-year-old man from Annandale, was with a group of people riding motorcycles when the motorcycle he was operating went off the roadway while going around a curve, the release said. The man sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for evaluation. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the release said.

    The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Watkins Ambulance and the Kimball Fire Department.
