Glendale inks land deal with resort for parking garage
The Glendale City Council recently authorized the city manager to agree to sell 8.25 acres of land to VAI Resort LLC for the construction of the resort’s Black Lot parking garage. This deal allows the city to avoid one of its biggest expenditures in its fiscal year 2025 budget — just under $72 million — and instead gain roughly $7.6 million to go into its savings account.
