ARIZONA (July 6, 2024) - Due to the excessive heat in Arizona, tonight's 7/6/24 Independent Cup match: AZ Monsoon v. SC Union Maricopa, will be postponed to a later date. With an anticipated outside temperature of 112 degrees at kickoff, and 115 degrees during the scheduled warm up period; it is anticipated the surface of the athletic turf would likely be exceeding 120 degrees. It is unfortunately not possible for the clubs to delay tonight's game to a significantly later kickoff time that would alleviate any of the heat concerns.
