Christian Walker Punishes Dodgers With Eye-Popping Feat Last Accomplished By Lou Gehrig
Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Christian Walker would be a lock for Cooperstown if he spends his entire career playing at Dodger Stadium. Walker is hitting like he’s Barry Bonds and Babe Ruth in one body when he’s at the home of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and he proved that again Thursday night when he helped the Diamondbacks earn a 9-3 victory over Shohei Ohtani and Co. Walker went 2-for-3 with two home runs and three RBIs in the series finale against the Dodgers. LOS ANGELES — Arizona third baseman Eugenio Suarez received his first ejection as a member of the Diamondbacks Thursday in Thursday’s 9-3 win at the Los Angeles Dodgers. Suarez had argued balls and strikes with home plate umpire Stu Scheurwater after going down looking twice.
