    Gold Canyon circulation study meeting Wednesday

    A public open house style meeting will be held in May on a roads circulation study for Gold Canyon in unincorporated Pinal County.

    Residents are invited to attend the open house 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Gold Canyon Golf Resort’s Upper Towne Hall, 6100 S. Kings Ranch Road in Gold Canyon. to learn about the study and provide input. A presentation will be given starting at 5:15 p.m.

    The study area is bounded on the west by Goldfield Road, on the north by Broadway Road, on the east by the Superstition Mountains and on the south beyond Peralta Road.

    The purpose of the study is to recommend a future transportation network to better accommodate existing and future development and improve circulation, according to a release.

    The study is also evaluating congestion issues on U.S. Highway 60 related to the Arizona Renaissance Festival and evaluating parking for the Broadway Road and Cloudview trailheads.

    Reasonable accommodations may be made available for persons with ADA needs or those with limited English proficiency with a minimum 72-hour notice.
