On Thursday night, Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark attended her first WNBA All-Star orange carpet as a professional. The orange carpet is the introduction to All-Star weekend, where players showcase their best outfits and answer questions about the upcoming event.

A few hours before the orange carpet, Clark was snubbed from the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors. Instead, the award went to New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu.

At the orange carpet, Clark was asked, "If you had to pick one WNBA All-Star to not be stuck in a desert with," but before the question was completed, Clark had her answer.

    "Sabrina," Clark said.

This answer from Clark conveniently came hours after her award snub, but it is unlikely the former Iowa Hawkeyes star has any beef with Ionescu about the honor.

Clark and Ionescu have gone head-to-head four times during the 2024 WNBA season. Ionescu and the Liberty took the first three games, but Clark and the Fever got their revenge in the fourth-and-final game.
