Arlington restaurant determined to rebuild after devastating fire

ARLINGTON (KDAF) — In the face of tragedy, the owners of One Love Caribbean Restaurant and Lounge in Arlington are showcasing resilience. After a 3-alarm fire destroyed their beloved eatery on S. Cooper Street on Tuesday, they are already planning to rebuild.

While no one was injured in the fire, the building was deemed utterly dismantled. Despite this, the One Love team is determined to rise again.

“We appreciate everyone who has reached out, but we kindly ask for some privacy at this time as we work with the necessary departments on the next steps. Thank you to the community for your ideas and support. We will rebuild,” the restaurant said in a Facebook post .

While the cause of the fire remains undetermined, One Love aims to live on.
