Felon Armed with Sawed-Off Shotgun Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison
THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION COUNTY STATE’S ATTORNEY’S OFFICE RELEASE. On July 23, 2024, Dillon Cagle (DOB: 6/5/1995), previously of Tilton, Illinois, was sentenced to 8 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by Judge Mark S. Goodwin, following a plea of guilty to Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, a class 2 felony. Following his term of imprisonment, Cagle will serve 1 year of mandatory supervised release.
