Missouri Southern implements new policy for unpaid tuition
JOPLIN, Mo. — Missouri Southern is re-focusing efforts to make sure students are paying their tuition fees on time. Changes in federal regulations mean the current policy is no longer allowed. It had been that a student who still owes money can’t get a copy of their transcript. The university is still allowed to block registration for a new semester when money is still owed.
Work on upcoming MSSU addition causes detours on campus
JOPLIN, Mo. — If you think you know your way around campus at Missouri Southern, think again. Dirt work is underway to add a new building on the MSSU Oval and this week that included taking out a chunk of University Parkway. The project officially kicked off three months ago, blocking off much of the Oval as well as the ground to the north.
