BJ's Wholesale Club Expands Presence in Florida with Two New Locations

BJ's Wholesale Club, the popular membership warehouse club retailer, continues its national expansion drive with a significant focus on the Sunshine State. The company has announced plans to open two new club locations in Florida, solidifying its foothold.

The new clubs will be located in Brooksville and St. Johns, marking BJ's 40th and 41st locations in Florida. This latest move underscores the retailer's commitment to providing its signature savings and diverse product offerings to more communities across the state.

"Our real estate pipeline is the strongest it's been in more than 20 years, and we look forward to helping more families save up to 25 percent off grocery store prices every day," said Bill Werner, Executive VP of Strategy and Development at BJ's Wholesale Club.

BJ's is a rival wholesale club to Sam's Club, which is owned by Walmart and each new BJ's location is expected to create approximately 150 job opportunities for the respective communities. The clubs will feature various offerings, including fresh foods, produce, full-service deli, bakery goods, grocery staples, household essentials, home décor items, toys, tech products, and pet supplies.
