Monroe, MI – A Monroe man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Laplaisance Road at Lighthouse Road in LaSalle Township. The crash occurred on Saturday at 9:12 p.m. According to Monroe County Sheriff Troy Goodnough, James R. Miller, age 51, was riding a red 2008 Yamaha motorcycle westbound on Laplaisance Road when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle veered north off the roadway and struck a guardrail. The impact ejected Miller from his motorcycle, causing him to land on a nearby embankment.
