Overnight work scheduled on El Camino Real, Traffic Way

– The City of Atascadero has announced planned night work at the intersection of El Camino Real and Traffic Way to facilitate sewer construction and enhance safety measures. The construction activity will take place overnight from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. starting on Sunday, June 30th through Wednesday, July 3rd.

To minimize disruption to vehicular traffic, one lane will remain open in each direction for northbound and southbound El Camino Real, as well as eastbound Traffic Way. Westbound Traffic Way traffic will be rerouted via Lewis Avenue. The intersection center will be closed to accommodate the construction zone, with traffic control measures implemented by the contractor.

Residents are urged to exercise caution while driving through the construction area and to show consideration for construction crews working during this period.
