Carson Beck meets with NFL legends at Manning Passing Academy

There's plenty of buzz surrounding Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck, and icons from the NFL are already starting to take notice.

Beck was spotted talking with some NFL legends during his time at the Manning Passing Academy. He even got some time to chat with the likes of former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and former NFL quarterback Archie Manning, the father of Peyton and Eli.

Chris Gordy with Sports Talk 790 was able to grab a picture of Beck talking with the legends, along with former NFL head coach Matt Patricia, during some down time at the academy.

Beck comes into the 2024 season with plenty of hype surrounding him. Despite some early-season struggles, he helped lead the Bulldogs to a 13-1 season. A loss in the SEC Championship against the Alabama Crimson Tide kept the Bulldogs out of the playoffs, but Beck had a strong statistical season. He finished the year with 3,941 passing yards, 24 touchdowns, and six interceptions, earning second-team All-SEC honors.

Heading into 2024, Beck has the opportunity to be one of the best quarterbacks in the nation. He is currently the odds-on favorite to win the Heisman Trophy, ahead of stars like Texas Longhorns QB Quinn Ewers and new Oregon Ducks quarterback Dillon Gabriel.

Emerging stars like Rara Thomas and Dillon Bell could play a key role in Beck's Heisman run. Tight end Oscar Delp also filled in admirably for superstar Brock Bowers while he was out with an ankle injury.

With that kind of hype, it's no wonder why the likes of Belichick and Manning are interested in chatting with Beck.
