The Georgia Bulldogs currently have four five-star commits in their 2025 recruiting class, and they could be adding another next month.

According to On3's Hayes Fawcett , five-star plus+ offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. is expected to announce his decision on August 17.

Sanders Jr., 6-foot-6, 290 pounds, is the top-ranked tackle and No. 2 overall player in the class of 2025, and the best player in the state of North Carolina, according to 247Sports.

Sanders Jr. is currently a two-way player at Providence Day High School in Charlotte, North Carolina where he doubles as a pass rusher. As a junior, Sanders Jr. logged 24 tackles, 4 sacks, two pass breakups, and a forced fumble and fumble recovery on defense and was named 2023 North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year.

When the day rolls around, Sanders Jr. will choose between the Georgia Bulldogs, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Ohio State Buckeyes, or Tennessee Volunteers.

Here's what Sanders had to say about Georgia back in May ( via On3 ):

"Georgia is Georgia. You want to go there, go to the NFL, that’s the place to go Coach Smart has done a great job, me and Coach (Stacy) Searels have a great relationship, he’s been recruiting me since he was at UNC so me and him go way back. I think they’re doing a great job with the guys that they brought in in that 2024 class … Mason Short‘s coming in to Georgia and that’s one of my really good friends in this whole entire recruitment process. So Georgia’s done a great job, they were one of my early offers, my 10th offer as a freshman, so they’ve been on me really early, so Georgia’s always been at the top of the list.”

The Bulldogs have been on a hot streak with their 2025 recruiting class and currently have 18 players committed and rank No. 3 nationally.

Hopefully, Sanders Jr. makes the right choice.
