Angel Reese Leaves No Doubt About Her NFL Fanhood

Angel Reese has immediately become one of the WNBA's biggest stars with the Chicago Sky after first emerging as a household name in the basketball world after transferring to LSU.

Though she certainly boasts allegiance for both the Windy City and Baton Rouge, it's safe to say the place that stokes most pride in Reese is the DMV.

She was born in Randallstown, Maryland and burst onto the scene as an elite prep prospect while attending Saint Frances Academy in nearby Baltimore. Before taking her talents to LSU as a junior, Reese even played two NCAA seasons for her home-state Terrapins at Maryland.

Needless to say, Reese's ties to the DMV area run deep—including her rooting interest for the NFL. Asked on social media Wednesday whether she's a follower of the Baltimore Ravens or Washington Commanders, Reese left no question about where her football fandom lies.

The No. 7 overall pick of the 2024 WNBA draft, Reese has defied expectations with the Sky this season to emerge as a frontrunner for Rookie of the Year alongside Indiana Fever sensation Caitlin Clark.

She is averaging 13.5 points, 12 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game during her debut campaign, also leading the W in offensive rebounds. Reese's passing prowess and defensive versatility have loomed similarly large to Chicago entering the Olympic break holding onto the WNBA's eighth and final playoff spot, too.
