Texas continues to trend in a positive direction for several of the top wide receivers in the 2025 recruiting class.

The Longhorns landed a commitment from five-star wide receiver Kaliq Lockett on Wednesday and shortly after learned they're among the top five schools for four-star wide receiver Andrew Marsh.

Marsh revealed the final schools left in his recruitment are Texas, Colorado, Washington, USC, and Michigan. The Fulshear (TX) native is ranked the No. 8 wide receiver in the nation and No. 13 overall prospect in Texas for the 2025 cycle, according to 247Sports composite.

Michigan appears to be the leader in his recruitment as two 247Sports crystal ball predictions have been entered in favor of the Wolverines recently. On3's recruiting prediction machine also views Michigan as the leader with a 90.9% chance of landing him.

As a junior in 2023, Marsh hauled in 65 passes for 1,158 yards and 15 touchdowns for Katy Jordan High School. He currently has a commitment date scheduled for Aug. 20.
