The United States is going for Gold. After cruising to a 25-point win over Brazil in the quarterfinals, Serbia, who features NBA All-Star Nikola Jokic, gave them a run for their money on Thursday afternoon. Team USA was down by as much as 17 points, but a late rally in the fourth quarter helped them get the huge victory.

After former Wildcat Devin Booker led Team USA in scoring the last time out, it wasn't a former Wildcat who did most of the damage this time. Instead, it was the greatest shooter of all-time, NBA All-Star Steph Curry. He even hit a massive three-pointer in the final two minutes to help the United States take the lead late in the game. He helped Team USA take a 32-15 point differential in the final quarter. He finished with 36 points on 12-19 shooting overall and an unbelievable 9-14 from deep.

As for the former Wildcats in action, Devin Booker got the bulk of the minutes, playing 24 minutes and posting 6 points on 2-4 shooting overall and an assist. Anthony Davis and Bam Adebayo saw just 10 minutes of action on Thursday. Davis had 4 points, 2 rebounds, an assist, and a steal. Adebayo had just an assist and a steal during his time on the floor. With the depth of Team USA, on any given night roles can change, and on Thursday, it was another big man's turn to shine that wasn't a former WIldcat.

Now, the United States will look to bring the Gold home on Saturday against the sensation of Victor Wembanyama and France. That game will tip-off at 3:30 p.m. ET, and you can watch the action on NBC. Can the United States finish off their terrific run?
