ESPN Reveals Big 12 Power Rankings Ahead Of 2024 CFB Season

ESPN has just revealed its 2024 Big 12 power rankings, and Utah spearheads the conference while second in betting odds. As for another presumed contender in the Big 12, Kansas State didn't even break the top three.

After Utah. ESPN has OK-State, Arizona, K-State, Iowa State, West Virginia, Kansas, TCU, Texas Tech, UCF, Baylor, BYU, Houston, Colorado, Cincinnati, and bringing in the rear is Arizona State.

For comparison , ESPN has Utah leading the betting odds for the conference championship at +325 followed by K-State (+375), OK-State (+750), Kansas (+800), Iowa State (+850), UCF (+900), Arizona (+1000), Texas Tech (+1200), and TCU/West Virginia at +1800 while the rest of the conference have +3000 odds or lower.

Based on ESPN's power rankings, Utah would face the second, third, and fifth-best teams in the conference hosting the latter two at home while facing the Pokes on the road in the first big test of the season for the Utes.

Despite all of these high marks and lofty projections and predictions, nothing matters except what happens on game day, and the Utah faithful will surely be hoping the team makes good on the expectations set on the program in 2024.
