One of the top players in the class of 2025 has narrowed down his list of schools. According to On3's Joe Tipton , 2025 top 15 forward Chris Cenac Jr. has released his top 12 schools, one of those being Kentucky. Along with the Wildcats, Cenac is down to Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Houston, Louisville, LSU, Michigan State, Tennessee, Texas, and UConn.

Cenac has yet to begin scheduling official visits, he told Tipton. His only visits so far have been to LSU and Houston, so the next step for the five-star forward will be scheduling a handful of visits, likely in the fall. Cenac is ranked as the No. 14 overall player in the class, the best at his position, and top overall in the state of Missouri, according to the 247 rankings . As for a commitment date, he has a timetable set for January or February, according to Tipton. That means visits should begin being scheduled in the near future. Kentucky entered the fold with Cenac after watching him early in the summer, before offering him at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, where he won MVP of the event.

The top-15 forward recently discussed what he's looking for in a school with On3's Jamie Shaw. "I’m looking for a school that will develop me the most and help me get to the next level," he told Shaw. "I’ll want to have a great relationship with the coaches, trust there, and I’ll want to be looking for an NBA type system, spreading the floor, playing four or five out. I’m open to any school around the country really, location won’t matter."

Cenac will look to begin setting up plenty of visits in the near future, especially with having yet to take any official visits.
