Mavs LOOK: Jordan Brand Releases New Luka 3 'Speedway'

The Dallas Mavericks are currently in the part of the NBA offseason that features tumbleweeds rolling across Nowitzki Way in front of American Airlines Center. However, even with nearly two months remaining until training camp begins, Mavs star Luka Doncic is keeping fans engaged by dropping new heat with his Jordan Brand signature shoe line.

Jordan's latest release is the Jordan Luka 3 "Speedway," which became available for purchase on Nike's website this weekend.

The shoe has a sleek look. It is mostly black material with white outlining around the sides and on the sole. And then, of course, there's the iconic red "Jumpman" logo on the heel.

Doncic continues to impress with his signature shoes. Ever since releasing his initial Luka 1, his shoes have become insanely popular, with several other NBA and international players choosing to wear them. Even big-name basketball colleges like North Carolina, Georgetown, and Marquette have used Doncic's shoes as an option for their teams.

After leading the Mavs to their first NBA Finals appearance in 13 years, a banged-up Doncic tried his best to help the Slovenian national team qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Unfortunately for Slovenia, that didn't happen, but it was probably a blessing in disguise for Doncic, who was battling through several ailments all NBA postseason, including a nagging knee sprain.

As Doncic continues to rest his body, the Mavs hope that he'll be refreshed and ready to hit the ground running again when training camp begins toward the end of September. After Dallas added star sharpshooter Klay Thompson in the mix this summer, Doncic and his co-star Kyrie Irving will have a real chance to get back to the NBA's biggest stage for a second consecutive season.

Perhaps Doncic will have a new, NBA Finals-inspired version of the Jordan Luka 4 by that point.
