Brian Thomas Jr. makes an impact in his first NFL game

Brian Thomas Jr. has a lot of supporters in the locker room. The sideline erupted in celebration after he hauled in a key reception in the Jaguars victory over the Chiefs.

The normally soft-spoken rookie was a bit more enthusiastic after his first preseason performance, “It felt great to be able to come out here, you know I dreamed of playing in the NFL. Just to be able to get that first game out of the way felt great. It was a lot of light, a lot of excitement going into the game but I had to control my emotions and just stay focused. I feel like I did good and it was a great experience.”

Last week, Brian spoke at length about building his work relationship with Travor Lawrence. “I feel like it's growing each and every day, getting better and better with more reps,” said Thomas.

“I mean, we're both new to each other, so it's going to take reps, take experience getting with each other……So just going out there and doing it and getting actual practice reps helps a lot.”
