Could Eagles Target Matthew Judon in Trade?

At the height of his NFL career, Matthew Judon has long been known as one of the best all-around defensive players across the league.

A four-time Pro Bowler and Defensive Player of the Year finalist in 2022, Judon has been looking for a new deal currently with New England and has denied the latest offer by the organization.

At 31 years old, it appears there is a growing market for the former Raven as the Patriots look to get younger across the board.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reported Monday afternoon that the Patriots have received several calls about Judon's current status on the team.

Could the Philadelphia Eagles be one of them?

After trading away Haason Reddick, only Brandon Graham is over 30 years old along the defensive line - a focus that could excite fans regarding the youthfulness of the group, but also concern others due to the lack of consistency.

Judon would be an immediate plug-and-play performer who defends the run well and can be used all over the field.

It almost would make too much sense for a team like the Eagles to be interested - even if it means offering a little more incentives to entice Judon to come.

Whatever the case, Judon's time in New England may be coming to an end - especially if Philadelphia is interested in the pro bowler.
