Utah Women's Basketball has officially landed one of the top prospects in the 2025 recruiting class as La Sneed has chosen the Lady Utes over Arkansas and California.

The 5'6" point guard hails from Karen Wagner High School in San Antonio, Texas, and currently ranks as the 26th-best prospect in the entire nation.

Sneed received offers from SMU, K-State, and Auburn, but narrowed down her list of potential future homes to Arkansas, Cal, and Utah before ultimately picking Salt Lake City as her new home.

When talking to 247Sports' Dushawn London, Sneed said, "[Utah is] the perfect fit for me," Sneed said. "I felt the most at home there. I know a lot of people say that, but I really did. ... I love the coaches and when I went on my official visit it was great talking with them and being with the players. It felt like: 'That's the right place for me. A place where I can help the program and the program can help me.'"

She continued by saying, "They don't really have a player that does the things I do. There are a lot of shooters on the team already and I play really good around shooters. They think my style of play will help myself and my teammates, I'm really confident in this team. They were already winning before me and I'm going to come in and help us get to [the] next level."

La Sneed is the perfect addition to a squad that was in need of an instant impact/high publicity player post-Pili, and her arrival in SLC will hopefully spearhead a slew of other top talents that will bring the program into a new era.
