We're just over two weeks away from the start of the College football season for the Kentucky Wildcats. That means it's time for a load of preseason honors. On the same day as the AP Preseason Top 25 was released, USA Today then released their Preseason All-American teams . Among those on the team are two Wildcats, both of which will be massive pieces for determining Kentucky's success this season.

Wildcats Barion Brown and Deone Walker both made the list, Brown at the all-purpose position and Walker at Defensive Lineman. Brown was incredible last year, especially being a threat as a return specialist. Walker is poised for yet another monster season after earning All-American honors last year from a couple of outlets. The two Wildcats both earned second-team honors on the preseason list, and have been racking up plenty of preseason awards.

So far for preseason honors, Brown has been named an All-American by Athlon Sports for both Wide Receiver and Return Specialist, Phil Steele (RS) for both All-American and First-Team All-SEC, and now Second-Team All-American by USA Today. He led the nation last season in kickoff returns, averaging 36.0 yards per carry, and tied the UK and SEC record for kickoff return touchdowns in a career with 4, as well as in a season with 3 last year. With Walker, he led Kentucky in tackles for loss (12.9), Quarterback sacks (7.5, ranked 8th in SEC), and two pass breakups. He has been named to multiple preseason honors, including Preseason All-American by Walter Camp, Athlon Sports, Phil Steele, and USA Today, as well as the Lott Impact Trophy Watch List and Preseason All-SEC by Athlon Sports and Phil Steele.

It's going to be another big year from those two Wildcats.
