49ers WR Used One Word To Describe Brandon Aiyuk Trade Drama

As of Tuesday, Brandon Aiyuk is still a member of the San Francisco 49ers. Yet, reports surfaced that the Pittsburgh Steelers have a deal in place and are waiting for the 49ers' approval.

But, it remains to be seen what will happen with Aiyuk. He is still not participating in practices with the franchise despite them making an effort to sign him long-term.

Moreover, Chris Conley, who has been the replacement for Aiyuk in practice, shared how things are going despite the trade buzz, per Cam Inman of The Mercury News. While Conley gave an answer, he repeatedly said one specific word: Good.

“He’s been around, been in the building, been chatting here and there," Conley said. "Things are good. Things are about as good as you can tell. I’m not part of negotiations, and that’s not even what I’m talking about. But checking in with him and how he’s doing, things are good.”

What's interesting is that Conley said the word "good" three times in just a few sentences.

Nobody knows what will happen or when (or if) Aiyuk will get traded. But it sure is something when Conley mentioned the same word a few times.

The Brandon Aiyuk contract drama has been going on all offseason, but just recently, it was reported that the 49ers were going to work on agreeing to a new deal to keep him in San Francisco.

Now, however, there are trades reportedly on the table for the former Arizona State star. It has been a big back-and-forth for the past couple of months, and it looks to be reaching its final stage.

But Conley's comments on the situation certainly will raise some eyebrows.
