Texas receives another recruiting prediction for the nation's No. 1 ATH in the 2025 class

Texas is gaining momentum on the recruiting trail for the 2025 cycle.

The first five-star pledge came on Aug. 7 when wide receiver Kaliq Lockett announced his commitment to the Longhorns. Now, Texas is in line to land two other five-star recruits during the month of August.

Terry is widely expected to announce a commitment to his school of choice prior to his senior season. The leaders in his recruitment are Texas, Oregon, Nebraska, and Texas A&M.

The Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) product is ranked the No. 1 athlete in the nation for the 2025 recruiting class and No. 7 overall prospect in Texas, according to 247Sports.

Texas' chances to land Terry have significantly increased over the last few weeks. Most recently, On3's Justin Wells entered a recruiting prediction in favor of the Longhorns on Aug. 13 with a 60% confidence level.

On3's recruiting prediction now lists Texas as the heavy favorite in his recruitment with a 93.9% chance of landing Terry.

Five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench is another recruit to watch for the Longhorns over the next two weeks with a scheduled commitment date of Aug. 30.
