AUG 13 'NO COMPARISON' If you ask someone who the greatest basketball player of all time, you are likely going to get one of two answers. But former New York Knicks point guard Stephon Marbury thinks the answer is clear as day.

"Jordan shouldn’t even be ranked. It should be Kobe, then LeBron and then you can pick guys after that," Marbury told Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson . "There’s just no comparison man. It’s not the same. It’s just different worlds. Different mentalities. I don’t know why Jordan’s name is mentioned in the same conversation sometimes."

The only evidence that Marbury provides for his claim is that Jordan's mentality is so much better than anyone else's, which could be a fair statement. No matter how you look at it, this is likely going to be a debate for the foreseeable future.

AUG 13 NBA CUP SCHEDULES REVEALED ESPN revealed the Emirates NBA Cup groups back in July, and now every team's schedules have been released.

For the New York Knicks, they will start out with the rival Philadelphia 76ers, then the Brooklyn Nets, then the Charlotte Hornets, and they will finish it with the Orlando Magic.

The Knicks made a number of moves this offseason in order to contend for a championship, but those moves will also help them try to win the NBA Cup in its second season.

AUG 13 BRUNSON GETS GIFT FROM MAN CITY A lot has happened for Jalen Brunson in the last month. He re-signed with the New York Knicks, he was named the 36th captain of the team, and now, he has gotten recognition from a very popular sports team in England.

Manchester City US of the Premier League posted on their social media today they had gifted the star point guard a custom jersey, and they captioned the photo, "Mr. New York."

Manchester City is one of the best soccer teams in the world, so getting recognition from them is bound to get the Knicks more publicity and support across the pond, which is always a good thing.

AUG 12 ANTI-CELTICS Team USA head coach Steve Kerr got a lot of hate for benching Jayson Tatum in the two games that Team USA played against Serbia. One of the people unhappy with Kerr is Boston Celtics legend Bob Cousy, as he thinks the head coach has an agenda against the reigning NBA champions.

"When Kerr did it last week, he was in no danger of losing the game, but in this case they got down by 17 points and he's got to worry about losing the game," Cousy told the Boston Globe . "And then to not let Tatum get off the bench -- to me, there's got to be some kind of bias that he's got against the Celtics."

You would expect the best player on the best team to be played in the Olympics, but Kerr did not because he thought the Celtics star didn't fit into the lineup. Tatum will be looking to come back to the league with a vengeance and prove he should have been played.

AUG 12 LION KING Although you could argue that New York is the concrete jungle, Zambia, Africa, has an actual jungle. Following a playoff run that saw the New York Knicks beat the Philadelphia 76ers and take the Indiana Pacers seven games, it seems Precious Achiuwa's thrill meter didn't match the minimum.

Perhaps to help with the void in his life, the backup Knicks center walked two lions in Zambia while helping with a basketball camp. Achuiwa's teammates found it both impressive and insane.

Josh Hart commented on Achuiwa's risky activity on his Instagram: "That boy Pertusa going crazy."

Achuiwa did it for the "Gram," as he captioned the social media post with “Real killers but we tryna make your nervous system feel safe."

While it may appear cool on social media, such an action could have ended horribly for the backup center.
