Matt Milano Sustains Injury at Bills Practice

The injury woes continue for the Buffalo Bills defense as veteran linebacker Matt Milano left Tuesday practice with an apparent left arm injury.

According to sources at Bills' practice, Milano left the field early on in practice and did not return. While Milano never took the field again, he stayed on the sideline of practice rather than traveling to the locker room. On the sideline, Milano was seen working on his bicep/elbow area with trainers.

The team has yet to confirm the severity of the injury, so his status is still unknown. Since Milano never went to the locker room, there is optimism that the injury is not long-term.

This would not be the first time that Milano has missed time for the Bills, as he sustained a season-ending leg injury in 2023. This is also not the first injury that the Bills defense has sustained this offseason, as safeties Mike Edwards and Cole Bishop are missing time with injuries as well.

The team hopes to hear positive news about Milano's injury in the coming days as the team expects him to play a large role for the regular-season under a month away.

While it's possible that Milano returns to practice before the end of the week, Bills fans likely will not see him take the field when Buffalo takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers for their second preseason game on Saturday.
