Alabama has many questions that will be answered once the regular season starts. They have a tough schedule and tough road games, but they are aiming to find the definition of who this team truly will be.

One of the biggest question marks is if the offense will flourish under Kalen DeBoer's fiery offensive system. The 2023 Washington Huskies are a prime example of how a DeBoer led offense can look.

Due to many transfers and recruits leaving after the Nick Saban retirement, there have been questions about what the talent will look like in-game. The departure of former Alabama receiver Isaiah Bond leads analysts to ask: "What's next for Alabama wide receivers?"

Alabama has many high-quality talent set to make a name for themselves at the receiver position. Names like Kendrick Law, freshman Ryan Williams, Kobe Prentice, Jalen Hale, and transfer Germie Bernard, who played under DeBoer on that flashy 2023 Washington Huskies team.

Though Bernard didn't put up the flashiest of numbers, he would tally a total of 41 receptions, 547 yards, with four total touchdowns, two of them were rushing touchdowns. However, in 2023, he averaged over 12 yards per reception.

Provided by Touchdown Alabama on X , the Alabama offensive coordinator would make a statement about Bernard and how the program is "lucky to have him."

"He's a great football player. Certainly, in addition to that, his leadership, his character, who he is as a person, his willingness to help those around him... Germ's been great and we're lucky to have him."

Alabama is solid at the position talent-wise. Bernard will have a tremendous opportunity to establish himself as a leader within that room.
