'The Brotherhood!' What's Micah Know About CeeDee?

The CeeDee Lamb contract drama with the Dallas Cowboys continues as the regular season approaches.

But for those who might be shifting a little nervously in your seat over the prospect of potentially having no Lamb for Week 1 vs. the Cleveland Browns, defensive start Micah Parsons is here to alleviate those.

In fact, when he stepped to the podium in Oxnard, Parsons was rather steadfast in his thoughts regarding Lamb and his contract status.

"CeeDee is a part of this brotherhood whether he likes it or not," Parsons said. "He knows he's not going anywhere. The business side, they're gonna take care of it, no doubt about it."

So Micah appears rather relaxed about the situation. In truth, there has always been a belief that the Cowboys and Lamb's representatives would eventually work out a deal; it's just taking a little longer than most thought.

But these things can't be rushed, and Parsons will likely experience something similar next offseason when it looks like he will aim to be the highest-paid non-quarterback in history.

However, as far as Lamb is concerned, his absence in Oxnard, while not detrimental to the team by any stretch due to his standing with his teammates and knowledge of Mike McCarthy's offense, he is being missed.

"Obviously, we miss him," Parsons said. "He's one of the best people you can have in a locker room. I'm pretty sure he'll be here soon."

And for Lamb and Cowboys fans, there is hope that No. 88 will be back at practice sooner rather than later.
