Colin Cowherd Makes Prediction For Massive CFB Matchup Between Ohio State And Oregon
By Grant Bricker,

The Ohio State Buckeyes and Oregon Ducks have historically been two powerhouse teams in their respective conferences in college football. Ohio State has the second-most Big Ten titles, while Oregon has the sixth-most Pac-12 titles with 13.
Oregon moved to the Big Ten this season with the Washington Huskies, UCLA Bruins, and USC Trojans. Now that Oregon and Ohio State are in the same conference, they can play each other more regularly. The Ducks and Buckeyes face each other this season in Eugene.
Colin Cowherd joined Greg McElroy on a recent "Always College Football" episode to preview the upcoming college football season. Cowherd had Oregon beating Ohio State at Autzen Stadium this fall.
"I think Oregon's gonna beat Ohio State in Eugene," Cowherd said. "Because I think Dan Lanning has done something that I didn't think a southern guy was gonna do with no head coaching experience. I know what Oregon is; they're a little bit like the Detroit Lions. Relentless, they play hard. So, I think Oregon matches up with Ohio State. I think if you match up with Ohio State you match up with everybody."

Oregon has stars returning, such as linebacker Jeffery Bassa, defensive end Jordan Burch, wide receiver Tez Johnson, and running back Jordan James.
The portal is where the Ducks landed some top talent as well. Former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Dillon Gabriel, former Texas A&M Aggies WR Evan Stewart, former Washington Huskies corner Jabbar Muhammad, and former Houston Cougars defensive lineman Ja'Maree Caldwell transferred to Oregon in the offseason.
The program's notable departures from last season's team included stars like quarterback Bo Nix, wide receiver Troy Franklin, running back Bucky Irving, and defensive back Evan Williams.
Ohio State and Oregon face off at Autzen Stadium on Oct. 12.
