The 2024 WNBA All-Star game was one of the most memorable ones in recent memory.

It saw record-breaking attendance, viewership, and voting. Fans also got to witness Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese team up for the first time, guiding Team WNBA to an upset win over Team USA.

Following the All-Star game, Clark was interviewed as part of the Fever's "All Access," which gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the team throughout the 2024 season.

In the interview, Clark made a big request regarding the future of the WNBA All-Star game.

"Great All-Star Weekend," Clark said. "Shoutout Aliyah [Boston]. Shoutout Kels [Mitchell]. Shoutouts to everybody who showed up. We gotta bring it to Indianapolis. That’s what we need to do. Bring this to Indianapolis. Bring the party to Indy.”

Sure enough, Clark's wish has been granted within a month.

According to ESPN reporter Alexa Philippou , the 2025 WNBA All-Star game will, in fact, be in Indianapolis. The WNBA is expected to make the official announcement later this week.

This will be the first time Indianapolis has hosted a WNBA All-Star game, and with the popularity Clark has brought into the league, it makes for the perfect choice. But Indianapolis is very familiar with hosting All-Star weekends, with the 2024 NBA All-Star game being held there.

With no Olympics in 2025, the All-Star game will likely go back to its normal format, where the top two players with the most fan votes become captains of their team. They then select players in a draft, starting with the fan-voted starters and ending with the coach-voted reserves.
