NBC's Peacock streaming platform released the official trailer for 'Here Come The Irish' on Wednesday in anticipation of the new docuseries premiering on Aug. 29.

The series will go inside the Notre Dame program before, during and after the 2024 college football season, giving fans a new look at Marcus Freeman's Fighting Irish. The series is similar to the long-running HBO docuseries 'Hard Knocks'.

The trailer, spanning just over a minute, includes appearances from Freeman, new quarterback Riley Leonard and college football legend Lou Holtz. The former Notre Dame head coach (1986-1996) gave a gripping remark at the end of the clip.

"We're Notre Dame and they ain't," he said. "That says it all."

Episodes will be spread out throughout the rest of the year. The first two episodes will release on Aug. 29, with two more premiering on Dec. 5, Dec. 19 and Jan. 16.

The Fighting Irish enter the 2024 season with a plethora of expectations as the No. 7-ranked team in the preseason AP Poll. Notre Dame will face a tough test to open the season with a trip to No. 20 Texas A&M. Kickoff from Kyle Field is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET (ABC).
