The Florida State Seminoles are just over a week away from beginning their journey to defend their ACC title.

However, they've seemed to gain a critic this offseason. ESPN's Paul Finebaum has been in the news lately for his remarks about the Seminoles. He disagreed with the Seminoles being ranked No. 10 in the preseason AP Top 25 poll, stating that he doesn't believe they are that good and thinks they should not be ranked in the top 20, let alone the top 10.

Finebaum continued criticizing Seminoles fans, calling them the most insecure fans in America.

"I continue to be, I shouldn't be, but I am amazed at the pettiness of the most insecure fan base in America, which is now officially Florida State fans," Finebaum said.

This comes after Seminoles fans felt they were snubbed from the College Football Playoff last year despite going undefeated and winning the ACC championship, which Finebaum defended.

Finebaum stated that Alabama was selected over Florida State because the Crimson Tide defeated the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs. He also noted that Texas couldn't be excluded as they defeated the SEC champion.

Needless to say, it looks like the feud between Finebaum and Florida State fans won't end soon.
