Former Rams star is impressed by undrafted free agent Omar Speights

In Week 1 of the preseason, Rams rookie Omar Speights performed exceptionally well. The former LSU star stood out by recording four tackles and one tackle for a loss. He graded out as the second-highest-rated Rams defender. According to Pro Football Focus, he was the seventh-highest-graded linebacker in Week 1 of the preseason.

D’Marco Farr, a former Rams star and radio network personality, has been impressed by Omar's performance in training camp. According to Farr, Omar knows the defense well and just needs an opportunity. He is trusted by the team.

“Watching him play, he has a motor, and I like that he can make plays. Now, he's behind Ernest Jones and Jake Hummel, but there is an opportunity for Speights to make this football team.”
